Scott Baumgartner is a Minnesota native who grew up experiencing the nature of the North Shore on Lake Superior. Baumgartner attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and in 1991 graduated with a degree in Media Arts.
Baumgartner's many and exotic travels have taken him through a world of classical antiquity: Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Israel and Jordan. His passion for old world craftsmanship is evident in his handcrafted stained glass windows, stone mosiaics, and decorative painting.
World travels, a degree in Media Arts, and an intimate relationship with nature combine to form Baumgartner's artistic inspiration.
